Jonathan Kellerman Seth was in New York City, New York, born on August 9.1949, but grew up primarily in Los Angeles, California. His parents were David and Sylvia Kellerman.
Jonathan holds a BA in psychology from UCLA. He received his doctorate in child psychology from the University of Southern California when he was only 24 years. For her life as a student he worked at the Daily Bruin University, as a cartoonist. In his later years, Jonathan has wonSamuel Goldwyn Writing Award for fiction.
While at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Jonathan researched and wrote two texts on medicine, "Psychological Aspects of Childhood Cancer" 1980 and "Helping your child Terrible" in 1981.
Jonathan married Faye Mauder and produced four children, Jesse, Rachel, Ilana and Aliza. He worked as a professor and a doctor for ten years before starting a career as a writer of psychological thrillers. He published his first novel,"When the branch Breaks", 1985. This book begins a series of books with psychologist Alex Delaware as the protagonist. Jonathan says that Alex is his alter ego.
Jonathan is not the only talent in the family. Faye Kellerman, is also a published writer suspended since 1986. They, along with the youngest daughter, Aliza, co-author of a book in 2009 called "Prism written." His son, Jesse has also publicly stated as a novelist.
